Program Overviews

Junior Program
Ages 3 - 6
The junior program is intended for players from a beginner to intermediate level with zero to three years playing experience. This session is intended to teach kids the fundamentals of skating and hockey skills. Sessions will provide kids with a very thorough understanding of edges and balance and how they relate to the game of hockey.
As the students progress, pucks are incorporated into several drills to begin developing students skating skills in game situations.


Intermediate Program
Ages 7 - 11
The intermediate program is intended for players from an intermediate to senior level with three to five years playing experience. This session is intended to teach kids the fundamentals of skating and hockey skills. Sessions will provide kids with a very thorough understanding of edges and balance and how they relate to the game of hockey.
As the students progress, pucks are incorporated into several drills to begin developing students skating skills in game situations.
Drills are conducted with speed and accuracy, with a focus on skating and its importance in all game situtions.

Senior Program
Ages 12 - 17
The senior program is intended for players from an intermediate to advanced level with more than five years playing experience. Emphasis will be placed on increasing power, speed and lateral movement.
Many drills will be conducted with pucks to provide students with an understanding of the importance of these components during specific game situations.
Drills are conducted with an emphasis on speed, power and accuracy, with a focus on skating and its importance in all game situtions.



Please Note:  All ages are approximate.  Coaches reserve the right to move players from one program to a more appropriate program if necessary.
